Hot Dogs-One of the Causes of Cancer

Especially in the U.S. hot dogs are the favorite meal of numerous people and what’s most alarming, mostly of children. Hot dogs have been brought to America by German immigrants.
Usually, the production of hot dogs includes pork, beef and chicken meat, but the entire process also adds other remains of animals, like skin, fat, legs, and claws, as well as numerous additives like salt, corn syrup, monosodium glutamate, in order to enrich the taste. Every summer, approximately 7 billion of hot dogs are consumed in America only. However, apart from their delicious taste, hot dogs are extremely harmful junk food.
These additives differ between countries. Yet, the most disgusting thing about them is the process of creating of monosodium glutamate and carmine flavors, which are derived from the shells of small bugs, boiled in ammonia and sodium carbonate!
What’s more, additives are never listed on labels, so you can never be sure what comes together with your hot dog. This is quite scary, isn’t it?
Moreover, a research done at the University of Hawaii found that processed meat raises the chances of developing pancreatic cancer by up to 67%!
Namely, this meat involves additives like nitrites and nitrates, which are extremely dangerous ingredients shown to raise the risk of pancreatic, bowel, bladder, and stomach cancer.
According to the American Institute For Cancer Research, only one hot dog may raise the risk of colorectal cancer by 21%.
